mainly, in the capacity of the bigger rotors and pads to dissipate the heat created from the kinetic energy transformation ... the more heat you dissipate the better braking you have and less fading you will get. So you have 2 advantages here ... faster heat dissipation (shorter stopping distance) and less fading (might save your ass). It's as simple as that ... and if you're using Z rated tires .. they have so much grip, you wont need to lock your tires up to stop it ... the ABS will do it's job.
